I've been using Vestal, Jester, Highwayman and Shieldbreaker. Maybe having just the Leper inflicted with Crimson Curse could be a nice idea, despite the potentially nasty friendly fire incidents? Damage-buff would benefit him in particular, and moving forwards isn't a problem for him - if anything, it could potentially HELP you if he's been pushed back by something. but I believe certain stages of the Curse also reduces your chance of Virtue, which is pretty bad. Of course, you'd also be able to use some Crimson Curse-specific Trinkets, and some of them are pretty good. and sometimes, Bloodthirsty characters will move forwards on their own, screwing up your formation, which can be particularly nasty when you're fielding a slow-moving, placement-sensitive Leper. And potentially inflict Bleed or Stun in the process, and DEFINITELY cause nasty Stress-damage. which, okay, IS pretty bad considering that a souped-up, Bloodthirsty Leper can chop more than half the health out of a Vestal or Jester with his "All Must Bleeeeeed!" attack. The tradeoff is just a couple of marginally-reduced resistances. For starters, it renders you immune to all other illnesses, and the added punch that Bloodthirst provides is PRETTY epic. Crimson Curse! Assuming you carry enough blood with you to keep everybody fed, it COULD potentially be beneficial. Oh, and here's another interesting question. For a 'long run' approach, aiming to get everybody Virtuous might indeed be better! My Jester spent a LOT of time strumming that lute, keeping everybody's Stress down. I'm wondering if that might have been part of my mistake, though. With Tome of Sanity (or better yet, the Aria Box) on the Flagellant, that's pretty doable! But it sounds like Arteyp, like I did, was actively trying to avoid anyone reaching 100 Stress, rather than aiming for an all-Virtuous party. for all the advantages of Rapturous, it's a bit of a drawback in an endurance-mode.
